Outdoor Saunas
Choosing an outdoor sauna
Saunas for a garden, deck or yard — barrel, cabin and cube models from Finnmark, Kohler, Mande Spa USA and SaunaLife.
- Placement: where a sauna may go is its maker's call. Check what each maker rates its saunas for before you choose.
- Shape: barrel, cabin, cube or pod are starting points for comparison; check exact-model dimensions, assembly instructions and site requirements.
- Utilities: Check the exact sauna, heater and any flue documentation for site and utility requirements. Use a licensed electrician where electrical work is required or supply compatibility is unclear; confirm applicable local requirements with the relevant authority.
- Site: read what has to be ready before delivery before a sauna arrives.
Not sure which fits? Answer two questions, open the owner's manuals and documents, or ask us for a quote.
Here you will find barrel saunas, cabin saunas, cube saunas and pod saunas from Finnmark, Kohler, Mande Spa USA and SaunaLife. Each product page carries the exact model’s specifications, what is included and the manufacturer documents we hold for it.
Before you order, open the owner’s manuals page for the exact model. Where a model needs power, how to check the supply a model needs explains what to look for, and delivery and site prep covers access and the base before it arrives. Ask us if anything is unclear and we will check it against the maker’s documents.
Outdoor Saunas: common questions
Is every sauna in this collection rated for outdoor use?
Not necessarily. A sauna is suitable for the place its manufacturer rates it for; its shape, its wood and the collection it sits in do not establish that, and this collection groups saunas the way people shop.
Check the placement the maker states for the exact model, and ask us about any model whose maker publishes none before you choose a spot. What a maker’s placement rating covers explains the rule.
What does an outdoor sauna need to sit on?
A base that meets the exact model’s foundation, supporting-surface and drainage instructions. They differ from maker to maker, so never carry a rule over from a different model, and settle the base before you order: it cannot be improvised on delivery day.
Delivery and site prep quotes what Finnmark’s barrel manuals and SaunaLife’s outdoor care guide ask for, and the owner's manuals page holds the installation documents we have.
What electrical supply does an outdoor sauna need?
It depends on the exact sauna and heater. The installation manual for the complete model number and electrical version states the supply, circuit and connection it needs. Where the manufacturer supports plug-in installation, follow those instructions; if electrical work is required or compatibility is unclear, have a licensed electrician verify it before ordering.
How to check the supply a model needs explains what to look for, and the owner's manuals page holds the manufacturer documents we have.
How does delivery work for an outdoor sauna, and what will shipping cost?
Our shipping policy says: “Shipping rates vary by product and are calculated at checkout based on the item selected.” Our FAQ adds: “Large items such as saunas and cold plunges ship via freight carrier. Delivery is typically scheduled in advance and brought to the curb or driveway.”
Outside the contiguous U.S.: “Customers in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or Canada must contact us for a freight quote prior to ordering.” What delivery includes differs by product, so the product page and your quote are the authority for your model.
Do you install outdoor saunas?
Our shipping policy says: “Installation services, when available, are separate from shipping and may be provided by the manufacturer or a third party.” It adds: “Installation is not included in standard shipping unless explicitly stated on the product page.”
Assembly follows the exact model’s manufacturer instructions, and the owner's manuals page holds the manufacturer documents we have.
How soon can an outdoor sauna be delivered?
This page does not state a lead time, because it is confirmed for the exact model rather than the category. Ask us — we confirm the current lead time for the exact model before you order.
Our FAQ says the same: “For time-sensitive projects, contact us prior to checkout and we’ll confirm current availability.” Call 727-677-5331 or send a quote request naming the model.
