Return & Refund Policy

1. Overview

At RecoveryLux, we proudly offer premium wellness and recovery products, including luxury saunas, cold plunges, ice baths, and related accessories. Because many of our products are large, freight-delivered items, our return process differs from typical small parcel retailers.

This Return & Refund Policy explains how cancellations, returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled when purchasing from www.RecoveryLux.com (“Website”).

By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

3. Order Cancellations

Within 24 Hours of Purchase

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund, provided the order has not yet shipped.

After 24 Hours (But Before Shipment)

If an order is canceled after 24 hours but before shipment, RecoveryLux reserves the right to deduct up to a 20% processing fee to cover administrative, payment processing, and supplier coordination costs.

After Shipment

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled and must follow the return process outlined below. Applicable return shipping charges and restocking fees will apply.


4. Delivery Inspection Requirements (Important)

Because many products ship via freight carrier:

  • Visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery.
  • Customers must inspect shipments before signing.
  • Failure to note visible damage may void freight claims.

For concealed damage (damage discovered after unpacking):

  • Must be reported within 5 calendar days of delivery.
  • Clear photos and/or videos are required.

Failure to report damage within this timeframe may affect eligibility for replacement or refund.


5. Return Eligibility

Most stocked items may be returned within 30 calendar days of delivery, provided:

  • Item is unused and uninstalled
  • Item is in new condition
  • All original packaging, manuals, hardware, and accessories are included
  • A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) has been issued
  • Proof of purchase is provided

Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused.

RecoveryLux reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.


6. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Custom or made-to-order products
  • Installed products
  • Used products
  • Sauna heaters once wired or powered
  • Sauna stones once opened or used
  • Electrical components once installed
  • Hygienic or personal-use products (unless unopened)
  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable or digital products


7. Return Shipping Costs

Change-of-Mind Returns

Customer is responsible for:

  • All return freight costs
  • Proper packaging and protection
  • Insurance coverage during return transit

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

RecoveryLux will cover return shipping or replacement shipping costs when approved after inspection and documentation.


8. Restocking Fee

For change-of-mind returns, a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

This fee covers:

  • Inspection and handling
  • Repackaging
  • Supplier return fees
  • Freight coordination
  • Payment processing fees

Restocking fees do not apply to verified defective or incorrectly shipped items.


9. Refund Process

All returned products are subject to inspection upon receipt.

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Please allow 7-14 business days after inspection for processing
  • Financial institutions may require additional time for posting

Refund amounts will reflect any applicable:

  • Restocking fees
  • Return freight costs
  • Non-refundable original shipping charges


10. Exchanges

Exchanges are available only for:

  • Defective products
  • Damaged products
  • Incorrectly shipped products

Change-of-mind exchanges are treated as returns and subject to restocking fees and applicable freight charges.


11. Refused Deliveries

If a customer refuses delivery without documented shipping damage:

  • The return will be treated as a change-of-mind return
  • All return freight charges will apply
  • A 25% restocking fee will apply


12. Legal Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
