Cold Plunges
Which cold plunge reaches the temperature you want?
Pick a water temperature, where it goes and your supply. Each answer is the maker's own printed figure, and where the maker prints nothing, it says so.
Loading the makers' figures…
A planning aid, not electrical or code advice: a licensed electrician and your local code decide the installation. Temperatures are the maker's printed figures; actual water temperature depends on the room, insulation and load. Ask us about your setup.
Choosing a cold plunge
Cold plunge tubs and ice baths from Dreampod, Dynamic, Kohler and SaunaLife, in rigid and inflatable builds.
- Chilled or ice-filled: some tubs include a chiller that holds the water temperature; others are filled with cold water and ice. Chillers sold on their own are in cold plunge chillers. Included, separate or none sets out what each arrangement means for what you actually spend.
- Setup: Check the exact tub and any chiller documentation for dimensions, capacity and installation requirements. Follow the exact model’s supply, circuit and connection instructions. Where the manufacturer explicitly supports plug-in or straightforward homeowner installation, follow those instructions. If electrical work is required or supply compatibility is unclear, have a licensed electrician verify the installation before ordering. Site and delivery quotes what each maker asks for.
- Hot tubs too: wood-fired hot tubs and cold plunges are shown together in hot and cold plunge tubs.
The owner's manuals and documents hold the documents we have for each model. Questions about a specific tub? You can ask us for a quote.
Cold Plunges: common questions
Does a cold plunge come with a chiller?
It depends on the model. A cold plunge may arrive with its chiller, be sold as the tub only with a chiller bought separately, or be cooled with ice, so check what the product page says is included before you compare prices.
Included, separate or none explains what each arrangement means for what you actually spend, and chillers sold on their own are in cold plunge chillers.
Is there a seat inside, and will I fit?
Interior shape differs from model to model, and not every maker publishes the interior seating, floor or depth. Use the exact model’s interior dimensions from its product page and manual rather than its exterior size.
Where they are not published, ask us before you order. The owner's manuals page holds the manufacturer documents we have.
What power does a chilled cold plunge need?
It depends on the exact tub and chiller. The installation manual for the complete model number and electrical version states the supply, circuit and connection it needs. Where the manufacturer supports plug-in installation, follow those instructions; if electrical work is required or compatibility is unclear, have a licensed electrician verify it before ordering.
How to check the supply a model needs explains what to look for, and the owner's manuals page holds the manufacturer documents we have.
How does cold plunge delivery work, and what will shipping cost?
Our shipping policy says: “Shipping rates vary by product and are calculated at checkout based on the item selected.”
Outside the contiguous U.S.: “Customers in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or Canada must contact us for a freight quote prior to ordering.” What delivery includes differs by product, so the product page and your quote are the authority for your model.
How soon can a cold plunge be delivered?
This page does not state a lead time, because it is confirmed for the exact model rather than the category. Ask us — we confirm the current lead time for the exact model before you order.
Our FAQ says the same: “For time-sensitive projects, contact us prior to checkout and we’ll confirm current availability.” Call 727-677-5331 or send a quote request naming the model.
