Dreampod Float Tanks: Which Model, and What It Needs
We sell 7 Dreampod tanks: three Home Float models for the home, three commercial float pods (the Sport, V2 and V-MAX) and the Mineral Soaker. This page sets out what Dreampod itself publishes about each one: what kind of tank it is, its size, and the power and network it needs. Then it lists what to settle with us before you order. Where Dreampod does not publish a figure for the exact model, the page says so and asks you to check with us rather than guessing.
Home or commercial, inflatable or one piece
- Home Float FLEX (home, inflatable): Dreampod says it is “designed for home use”, with “a portable and inflatable construction”.
- Home Float Pro (home, one piece): “The Home Float Pro is one solid piece with a cover.” Dreampod: “We designed the Home Pro to easily fit into your home”. Check doorways and the delivery route before ordering.
- Home Float Plus (home): Dreampod builds its exterior from “fiberglass and plastics”. Ask us whether it arrives in one piece.
- Sport Float Pod (commercial, smaller): Dreampod calls it “smaller in size compared to our other commercial float tanks”; it “comfortably accommodates floaters up to 7 feet tall”, built for anyone “opening your first float related business, adding floating to your existing business, or even wanting to bring floating home”.
- V2 Float Pod (commercial): Dreampod calls it its “flagship V2 float tank”. Its FAQ adds: “Many customers choose a V2 or Vmax for their home.”
- V-MAX Float Pod (commercial, larger): In Dreampod’s words, the V-MAX is “our answer to people that want to offer couple floats or cater to larger sized individuals that appreciate that extra bit of space.”
- Mineral Soaker (home soaking tub): Dreampod describes a “home soaking tub” that “works automatically to keep the solution at a predefined temperature”.

Sizes are Dreampod’s own millimeter figures rounded up to the next whole inch, so a space planned on them is never too small. As Dreampod prints them:
- Home Float Pro: 1,100 mm wide × 2,200 mm long
- Sport Float Pod: 1,488 mm wide × 2,486 mm long
- V2 Float Pod: 1,741 mm wide × 1,326 mm high
- V-MAX Float Pod: 1,771 mm wide × 2,624 mm long × 1,319 mm high
Of the 7 models, Dreampod’s own figures give a size for 4 (all three dimensions for the V-MAX only) and a power requirement for 6. Where a cell says to confirm with us, Dreampod either does not publish that figure for the exact model or prints figures that disagree.
Power and network, as Dreampod states them
Dreampod’s FAQ names the supply by model line:
“The V2, Vmax, Cabin, and Open Float Pool always require a 220 V single-phase electrical supply and a wired connection to a router. The Home Float and Sport models use 110 V in the U.S. Have a qualified electrician prepare the correct supply before delivery.”
We sell the V2 and V-MAX from the first group, and the three Home Float models and the Sport from the second; the Cabin and Open Float Pool are Dreampod models we do not list. Dreampod publishes no amperage, breaker or circuit size for any of them, so this page states none: have a licensed electrician confirm the exact supply for your model before delivery. Dreampod publishes no electrical figure for the Mineral Soaker; confirm with RecoveryLux before electrical work begins.
V2 and V-MAX: Built-in electrical leakage protection on the inside and outside of the electrical box; it does not replace any supply-side protection your local code requires. Both also need a wired connection to a router, so plan that connection before delivery alongside the power. The Home Float models are controlled by a wired remote control. For the Sport and the Mineral Soaker, Dreampod does not state a network or control requirement for the exact model; ask us.
Before you order: room, delivery and installation
For the V2 and V-MAX, Dreampod’s own checklist is: “Before ordering, check the room layout, delivery access, electrical supply, equipment access, and the floor’s capacity for the filled tank.” The same points are worth settling for any model:
- Room: Dreampod’s example is that its V2 “can fit in a 10′ by 14′ area”. For the other models, confirm the room with RecoveryLux before you plan it.
- Floor: Dreampod does not publish the filled weight — ask RecoveryLux, and have a qualified professional assess the floor before delivery.
- Getting it into the room: the Home Float Pro is one solid piece with a cover, so check doorways and the delivery route. Dreampod does not publish a shipping size for any model; send us your doorway sizes and the route from the curb and we will check them with you.
- Power and network: a qualified electrician prepares the supply before delivery, and the V2 and V-MAX need their wired router connection in place.
- Water and salt: Dreampod does not publish the water volume or the salt quantity model by model; ask us.
- Setup: Dreampod says the Sport “was designed to be easily set up and operated so even a person with zero experience can get the job done”. For setup help on any other model, ask us.
